Brendaville

A small peaceful town with a big heart, our town offers time away from the city. Nestled 20 minutes from Dannevirke in a quiet suburb with a domain in the backyard if you feel like a stroll and take in the view. You can mingle with the friendly locals at the Black Dog pub, just a 5 minute walk down the road, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, or stay in your own little tranquil spot, swing in the hammock, and cook on the BBQ if you prefer a quiet night in. Larger cities 1 hour drive away.

1 Acre Wood

A quaint old farm-style villa in a small country town. (Note that this is also our home) Nearby public pool, 20 mins to local mountain walk, golf course, and a short local bush walk. Great coffee shop. 30 minutes from Masterton. Good place for family get togethers. Pets by arrangement. Private and large secluded garden. Chickens and free range eggs, ping-pong table and heaps of space. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs and an upstairs attic with 3 single beds plus a double. Includes a playroom.

The West Wing

A quiet self-contained space for a tranquil and private stay. In a cul-de-sac with a large landscaped lawn and garden, full of birdsong. Easy off road parking. Great facilities and a touch of luxury with all new amenities. Self-contained unit but a shared backyard with the attached house. We are on the outskirts of PN - a 10 minute drive to the centre of town. 5 minutes to airport. Walking distance to supermarket, wetland walkways and parks. 15 minutes to Feilding or the acclaimed Gorge walk

Putara Base Camp

Putara base camp feature a fully equipped kitchen, an open plan living area and dorm style sleeping area (6 beds are on the mezzanine floor, access is only by a ladder) with a capacity of 10 guest. You also have the option to pitch a tent. A separate ablution block with 5 showers and toilets. Nice big fenced grounds for the kids to play and have their little adventure. The Tararua forest park offers beautiful bush walk and is located 5 minutes down the road and great swimming holes nearby.

Neils Whare - Country Retreat Tiraumea

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay at Waitawhiti Station, Northern Wairarapa. Neils Whare is a newly renovated cottage situated on our family owned iconic sheep and beef station. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy your morning coffee in peace, this is the place to be, our farm offers the perfect getaway. Neils Whare is approx 1hr from Masterton and 50 minutes from Pahiatua. Please note: Neils Whare is 1.5hours from castlepoint beach.

Location Location

"Location Location" is a charming cottage built in the 1950's and relocated to the rear section in the 1970's. In early 2024 she received a makeover which included a totally new kitchen and updated bathroom. She was then furnished through out. The cottage is extremely private, and we a lucky that our neighbors are private and quiet. Some of the cottage charm extends outside to a private and sunny courtyard shaded by native trees and a Tui who visits most days.

Harakeke Cottage

We'd love to host you in our cute, fully self-contained guest cottage in rural Tokomaru. This little (but spacious) house has everything you need including full cooking facilities (stove, oven/ microwave, dishwasher, fridge, utensils), all linen, washer/dryer, Sonos sound system to play your own music and free wifi. Less than 20 minutes to Palmerston North and 10 minutes to Massey University & Linton Army camp.

Set in the foothills of the beautiful Tararua Ranges is this rustic hideaway. Perfect for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Try out tiny home living in this fully self contained shipping container. Your stay will be private, with our main house behind a large hedge. This space has every comfort for a home away from home. Ideal as a stay in between the major cities. Large parking space, enough to fit a small truck. Best suited for 2 guests.
