西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

A short walk to Japans' best-preserved Edo-era neighborhood - Imai-Cho and two stations with direct train access to Kyoto and Osaka. Also nearby: Japan's first capital, Asuka, within biking distance. 江戸時代に建てられた豪農邸宅をリノベーションした「あすかのまほろば」。 その離れの建物が「まほろの宿」として甦りました。 古い趣を残しつつ吉野の杉と檜を使用して、ゆったりくつろげるようにリノベーションしました。 一日一組限定の一棟貸切宿。誰にも気兼ねなく過ごせます。 パートナーと、ご家族と、グループで！もちろんおひとりさまも大歓迎。 庭の奥にある専用玄関を備えた独立した平屋の一軒家の宿です。 ヤマトタケルが美しさを讃えた「飛鳥」地域の中心地・明日香村川原にあります。 近隣には、日本初の写経が行われた「川原寺跡弘福寺」、聖徳太子生誕の地「橘寺」、明日香村や大和三山を一望できる「甘樫丘」など見所いっぱい。 「まほろ」とは、ヤマトタケルが詠った言葉で「素晴らしい場所」「住みやすい場所」を表す日本の古語です。まほろの宿で、ゆったりとした時の流れをお楽しみください。 「あすかのまほろば」の母屋は、レンタルスペースを営業中で新たなテナントも募集中。 母屋の土間や庭は利用者全員の共用スペースです。

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.

かしの木庵は近鉄橿原神宮前駅から徒歩3分という大変便利な立地にあります。 橿原神宮は、日本の始まりの地で、初代天皇の御陵や神社のある歴史的な町です。また緑の多い、自然豊かな所です。近隣には、日本の古代の姿がそのまま残っているような明日香があり、そこには多くの遺跡が点在しています。また、江戸時代の古い街並みが現存する今井町も見所です。 かしの木庵は、築６０年余りの純和風の家屋で、お庭も楽しんで頂けます。台所や浴室等は、リフォームされ気持ちよく過ごしていただけます。 近くには観光案内所、レストラン、居酒屋、スーパー、ドラッグストア、コンビニ、百円ショップ等もあり、大変便利です。 京都や大阪、奈良へも1時間程で着きますよ。
