We are close to conservation parks, local walking tracks including the Sharplins fall track , Staveley Ice skating rink and Mt Hutt ski field. Methven is just 15 minutes drive. Ideal for couples, trampers, adventurers, and families. Families with toddlers need to be aware that a small creek runs through the property.

St Elmo's Cottage is a three bedroom country house, situated under the foothills of the Southern Alps of New Zealand's South Island. It has been extensively renovated from its original 1950's state in 2018, and redecorated in 2023 - you will love the end result!
