Take the back road and come stay at The Handcrafted Hideaway. Our cabin is surrounded by woods,lakes,and wild pampas grass. We are located 1.5 mile from Red Bird Off-roading State recreation area and 5 miles from Green Sullivan State Forest. Spend your day relaxing on the front porch, fishing from one of the 2 docks on the property, or bring your off-road vehicle along and head for adventure at Red Bird! We have a fire ring in the backyard-ready for relaxing evening campfires and story telling

Crimson Lodge

Kick back in the Crimson Lodge with the whole family! Nestled on a hilltop, this cozy cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a loft. Enjoy coffee on the porch swing listening to all the wildlife, or drinks around the fire pit. Included inside are a few board games, an Xbox, and smart tv’s. A blackstone is also available to use on the front porch. The well known Yoho’s General Store is 5 minutes away, Crane Naval base is 20 minutes, and Indiana University campus is 25 minutes

It has all the modern conveniences and is right next to the Wilkins Mill Covered Bridge and Turkey Run State Park. This large (1,200 sq ft) cabin has an open loft type sleeping arrangement that can sleep 8-10 guests. It offers a Full kitchen and 1.5 baths. The large screened porch has additional dining and sleeping space and looks out at the covered bridge

Only a half-mile from Cataract Lake, quick and easy access to boating, fishing, kayaking, etc. awaits! Numerous nearby attractions are sure to provide great experiences (Cataract Falls, C Bar C Event Center, Exotic Feline Rescue Center, state parks, brewery/winery, local shops/eateries, etc.) And of course, simply enjoying time in and around the cabin itself is a fulfilling getaway!

The Narrows Cabins #2960 - The Nest

The Nest is a charming, fully renovated studio. Inside, 3 adults can sleep comfortably on a queen bed and futon couch, full bathroom and small kitchenette. The Narrows covered bridge & Turkey Run State Park border the property to the west. Firepit and charcoal grill outside. Firewood is provided for guests and is located in the black shed near the cabins. You may use our wagons to haul the firewood back to your cabin. Please take only what you need. Free will donation accepted.

Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, AC, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Captain Bill’s Lake House with Heated Pool

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is provided on the property, inquire for details. Heated pool is seasonal beginning Mid May through September.
