Kinloch Lodge - Dunbar Cottage

Kinloch Lodge is situated 12km outside of Dullstroom en-route to Highland Gate Golf Estate, with 4 self-catering cottages & can host up to 18 guests at a time. Kinloch is located close enough to Dullstroom town that one can pop there for a delicious meal. Kinloch has 6 dams which are fed from springs & stream & stock Rainbow Trout. The larger dam stocks Bass & is ideal for float tubes on a sunny day. During rainy months we do advise that our guest arrive in a 4x4 as the roads become quite muddy

The wide stoep looks into a lush, mostly indigenous subtropical garden. The nearby irrigation canal provides a peaceful backdrop of sound as the water gurgles past. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, work and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. We are completely off-grid, no power or water cuts!

Spitskop Plaashuis With magnificent views over the valley towards the town of Lydenburg, Spitskop is ideal for guests needing to break away from the hustle of city life. This beautiful upmarket, semi double storey home offers a working farm experience with goats, sheep, donkeys and chickens roaming around. Although there is no fishing at Spitskop, this venue is perfect for hiking, cycling, reading, cooking and of course relaxing! Great fun to be had in the farm dam during those hot summers.

Hackle Lodge

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing destination for the serious Fly Fisher The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front, and a fishing pond around 1km away. Enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch or trail ride of the day. The cottage has solar back-up.

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game and Fishing Lodge is a self-catering lodge located on top of a hill, in Dullstroom Country Estate. Ideal for a family or group looking for comfortable lodging with serene views, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can do bass or trout fishing at the dams, Game drives, bird watching, cycling or just enjoy the stunning view from the house of the country site. There is full cellphone reception at the house. a High rise vehicle is recommended and a 4x4 when wet.

Shooters Hill, Walkersons Estate

Shooters Hill is situated in the well renowned Walkersons Private Estate. Walkersons has some of the best trout waters in the Mpumalanga Highlands and aside from fishing, offers mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding, spa treatments, bar and restaurant. The house is well appointed and fully serviced. Three of the 4 bedrooms have fireplaces. We recently installed Solar and batteries to run the essential loads in the house. The house also has a gas stovetop.
