YurtSimple is where life slows down and people unplug. It’s forest bathing in nature. It’s getting away from it all to spend time with a partner, by oneself, and sometimes with pets. You’ll be driving past YurtCation (about 300 feet past YurtCation) to get to YurtSimple. YurtCation is 20’ in diameter and YurtSimple is 16’ in diameter. Wood and charcoal are provided. You may cook on the indoor wood stove top, or visit any number of great restaurants 2 miles away. You can even order pizza delivery

Yurt at AuTrain Lake! Glamping Pictured Rocks!

Glamping at its finest! This 16’ Yurt is tucked into the woods at Northwoods Resort. Just across the street from AuTrain Lake w/ full beach access. The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! The 1/2 bathroom is located just a short walk away in the laundry room for the resort as well as an outdoor shower. Also shared beach,dock, boat,canoe,kayak rental for use!

Explore thousands of acres of the Bayfield County Forest and enjoy endless miles of exceptionally maintained non-motorized recreational trails. The yurt has direct access to CAMBA mountain bike trails and Mt. Ashwabay ski trails. The landscape is also spectacular. Take in the panoramic views of Lake Superior and the Onion River valley. This is a rustic, minimally maintained yurt set in the middle of the county forest, so come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.

Stay in our stylish yurt for a one of a kind "glamping" experience on a 20acre homestead! The perfect location on the Southwest Michigan wine trail and just 15 minutes to Lake Michigan beaches! Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Enjoy a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower, lake views, and a fun little unique cabin option!

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. The yurt is located on our 200 acre biodynamic farm in beautiful West Grey. Guest are welcome to walk around the property and enjoy being in nature. A cozy insulated space available all year round. This accommodation is rustic with newly constructed washroom facilities near by. A Farm experience is also available. Snowshoeing or skiing trails are nearby or on the farm. Spa (hot tub and sauna) is available for private booking for 2 people for a $125 extra fee
