Gaia Cottage

Gaia cottage is a beautifully appointed stone fronted cottage, in a private vineyard on the outskirts of Auburn. Recently renovated to include all the modern features but still keeping its original charm and character. Tickles Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting

Tickles Cottage was built in 1850 by the cornish miners and is adjacent to Peppertree Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting. Cottages can be booked together or separately. Only 2 kms south of the historical township of Mintaro in the beautiful Clare Valley .Walking distance to Martindale Hall and Mintaro Maze. Mintaro has the best country pub for lunches or dinners. Historical Burra is only a half an hour to the mining town. Clare Valley has excellent wineries and the Reisling trail to explore

Burra Hills

Located in a beautiful and lush garden with stunning views over Burra's golden hills, this is where you relax in a calm and stylish atmosphere. Our one bedroom accommodation sleeps a maximum of two people, has a well equipped kitchenette, a lounge/dining area, TV, Wi-Fi and AC. On the verandah, you can enjoy a glas of wine. A five minutes stroll down treelined streets takes you to Burra's main street, with its country pubs, inviting cafes, historic buildings, shops and the vistor center.

The Miners Inn - 3 bedroom renovated Cottage +WiFi

One of Burras original stone cottages, recently renovated with an open plan living, this residence is new and clean with a very comfortable and cozy homely feel you won't want to leave. We renovated the place to sell and love it that much we decided to keep it. Only a 5 minute walk away from the main street this place is in a great location. Locally owned by a young couple born and bred in Burra who literally live a stone throw away from the place shall you need anything during your stay.

Coach House

The Bon Accord Hotel's Coach House was built in 1875 and fully restored in 2025. Originally used to stable hotel customer’s horses. The stone building was rebuilt and repointed making it a very comfortable living area with the extension adding kitchen, bathroom and toilets. A loft or mezzanine floor leads out to a balcony with the extension having a generous decking. Housing two bedrooms, two toilets, kitchen, lounge dining and bathroom it is suitable for short or long term accomodation.

The Manse

The Manse built in 1857, an elegant country house, recently renovated and located in Auburn in the Clare Valley, is a perfect getaway for couples or a family. Situated 1. 5 hours from Adelaide, Auburn is a perfect base to explore the Clare Valley, Burra or a perfect stopover enroute to the Flinders Ranges. The former Methodist Manse, built by master stonemason, Joseph Mellor has been lovingly restored with a beautiful garden. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms 2 living Kitchen Laundry

Copper Mine Cottage

Copper Mine Cottage will be featured on Inside Selling Houses Australia New Beginnings as a follow up to the make over of my Church property in Ellalong, NSW. (Selling Houses Australia Season 16 episode 1). Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston. The ‘Thames Street Cottages’ are some of the first buildings to be built in Burra, and are a fine example of some of the earliest residential buildings that still remains in South Australia.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Arthur's Place Burra

Arthur's Place Burra is a charming and thoughtfully renovated stone cottage, originally built in 1930 by local man Arthur Harris. Blending historic character with modern comfort, this self-contained retreat offers a unique stay in the heart of Burra. Arthur's Place is a two minute walk to the heart of Market Square for local shopping and dining experiences and perfect for exploring the local heritage listed area of Burra and further beyond around the Clare Valley. Crafted in 1856 from slate into a carpenter’s barn, with extensive restoration and contemporary open plan. The Villa boasts vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and a charming wood fireplace.

Bullock & Bridle Retreat at 58

A perfect private retreat in the heart of Mintaro. Originally built as a shelter to tether both horses and passing bullocks carting copper ore from Burra mine, the guesthouse adjoins the original stable building. Old meets new with the original building styling retained, revived with all new modern amenities. Enjoy a very short stroll to the iconic local hotel, cellar doors and restaurant.
