Vallakot Farm Austurbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

Country Room by Diamond Circle; Shared Kitchen

Skulagardur Country Hotel has four rooms dedicated to Airbnb guests, each with a private entrance and a shared kitchen. Excellent base to explore the fabulous Diamond Circle; a pompous name for a route covering some of the best sights in northern Iceland. Guests love the serenity: birds singing and northern lights dancing over the pristine countryside. Visit Jokulsargljufur Canyon, minutes from the hotel, for amazing trails away from the crowds -- yet.

Hlíð Hostel - Family room

In the room you will find two bunk beds – 3 of them are singles and one, on the bottom, is double but only 120 cm wide. While in a common area we have showers, toilets, equipped kitchen and dining room with a view over the lava field. All of the facilities are shared with other guests of our hostel. It's a sleeping bag accommodation. We offer the bedlinen set to rent: pillow and duvet with cases, sheet and a towel (10 eur).

Hotel North-Family room

Welcome to our spacious first-floor room, spanning 24 square meters with stunning views of the mountains and fjords. Accommodating up to 4 guests with a double bed and 2 singles, it's the perfect retreat. Enjoy essential amenities like a TV, towels, and a private bathroom with a shower and hair dryer. While there are no coffee machines yet, a refrigerator is provided in the private kitchen for your convenience.

Hotel North-Deluxe room

Welcome to our spacious second-floor room, spanning 22 square meters and offering a serene garden view. With a comfortable double bed, TV, and essential amenities provided, it's the perfect retreat for up to 2 guests. Enjoy the convenience of a private bathroom with a shower and hair dryer, as well as a private kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and coffee machine for a refreshing start to your day.

Fljotsbakki Farm Hotel - Double/Twin rooms

Our name might be difficult for you to pronounce, but we made sure everything else is going to be easy! All our rooms are located in the old cowshed. The design was kept in character with the shed: raw with stone floors, rough and genuine materials along with warm wood.

Hotel North - Small room with private entrance

This 14 m2 room with a private entrance from the parking lot accommodates 2 guests in a double or twin bed setup. It offers amenities like a TV, bathroom with shower and toiletries, and a private kitchenette with a refrigerator.
