Shady Rest “on blue pond” with hot tub

The tranquil sound of the water fountain sets the mood for Shady Rest. (removed during winter) Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub. (open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. No matter what the season, Shady Rest “on blue pond” is sure to create an unforgettable experience. Property not suited for small children due to deep pond next to the Airbnb. No pets allowed

There is no TV or Wi-Fi (good cell signal though) but that is not why you’re here! Explore the vineyards, walk the trails, and drink complementary on-farm roasted coffee! Located on the property is a pond with a plethora of fish to catch and a hot tub for a relaxing soak. Guests will have the ability explore and spend some time outdoors. With 4 bedrooms and 2 pullout couches, this property is perfect for a family get together or a group of friends wanting a quiet vacation! There is another vacation rental on this property and the driveway is shared with it.

The Paddock at 1208 - Simplicity, Style & Comfort

The Paddock at 1208 is a house that was built in the 1920's. Former owner was a pharmacist and racing horse trainer hence the name and decor. There is a sister house across the street, The Choisser Burnett House which sleeps six and is also on Airbnb.com. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles.
