This is a perfect spot if you want to have a quiet and relaxing time away. The location is perfectly situated a little over an hour from both Baton Rouge and New Orleans. While getting there, you will drive down a 2 mile gravel road that's peacefully lined with trees and swamp before it meets the pavement to the neighborhood. Once you enter the neighborhood, you will instantly feel at ease and in vacation mode. When you walk upstairs, you will be greeted by the Amite River and serene trees.

There is a bridge and trails that lead down to the river. There is also a gazebo and fire area on site. Airbnb no longer allows hosts to allow parties or large gatherings of more than 16 people.

You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The outdoor space is great for a variety of activities such as barbecuing, campfires, and crawfish boils. The house has boat access to a waterway that leads to the tchefuncte river, which is great for watersports. My place is good for couples and families (with kids).
