Our studio apt is in the heart of Carraroe, 10 min walk will get you to the village where you'll find pubs, restaurant, shop, chemist and library, there's 4 beaches, the unique coral beach ( Tra an Doilin) is only a 3 minute drive or a scenic 20-25 minute walk ,well worth the walk, 10 min drive will get you to Ros a' mhíl (Rossaveal) port where you can get a ferry to the Aran Islands, we have high speed internet in the apt, you can catch a bus frequently to Galway city down on the main strip

The cottage is located in a quiet area, offering stunning sea views and within a short walk of the famous Coral Beach (Trá an Dóilín). Cladach (Shore) offers stunning panoramic views of Cuan Chasla in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht. It is a newly constructed one bedroom apartment with spectacular views. Surrounded by country roads, hidden inlets and stunning beaches such as Trá an Dóilín (Coral Strand) on the Wild Atlantic Way. Cladach is a self contained apartment with one bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living/dining area and balcony. It is attached to the owner's residence so we are there if you need us.

You can enjoy a wonderful relaxing time to eat,drink or schedule a massage (see info) in our new heated conservatory with amazing views of Casheen Bay.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
