Relax at our secluded, post and beam home, 17 miles south of Ithaca where the night is dark and the stars are visible. Spacious and pet-friendly, our light-filled retreat has an open floor plan with natural beauty outside every window. The bucolic setting and pond nearby encourage you to unwind on the 10’X40’ deck while enjoying a spectacular sunset. A wide variety of birds stop here to nest or on their way north. Eastern Bluebirds, Grosbeaks, Brown Thrashers and Towhees are our neighbors.

Named for the acorn and pineapple motifs in the matching antique furnishings, the Oaknut Room at Cricket's Farm is spacious, elegant, and relaxing, ready for remote work or long philosophical conversations. Recline on the fainting couch with a book from our library or enjoy the room's view of our "barnyard," featuring chickens and miniature goats.
