The Bach At Crayfish

Relax, long walks, swim and enjoy. Private, great views of beach. Only 12 minutes from Stanley, 20 mins from Smithton, which has a large supermarket. 25 minutes from Wynyard. Rockycape Taven, great meals only just 5 minutes away. Plus 2 petrol stations that do take away and groceries. Explore this lovely area, with heaps to see and do. Or just kick back and relax. Salty Devil's Rest - Coastal Wilderness Shack

Welcome to Salty Devil’s Rest, an original 60’s beach shack set in a coastal dunescape with valley views to the ancient rainforest of the Tarkine wilderness. Spend your days exploring the river and local beaches before returning to the shack, lighting a log fire and enjoying a sundown drink on the front deck. There’s surf beaches, 4wd tracks over the dunes, boating, fishing & hiking so bring the gear and come prepared to have your mind blown in this wild and spectacular corner of Tasmania.

The Stone House

The Stone House is set in 24 acres of natural Tasmanian bush in the Arthur Pieman Reserve. This is in the pristine Tarkine Wilderness area. The Stone House is made of stone, beautiful timber and earth rammed walls. We have made a rough track around our block, please explore. The grasslands are home to Bennetts Wallabies, pademelons, tassie devils, wombats, quolls and possums as well as the magnificent wedge tailed and sea Eagles. The coast is wild and untamed and ready to be explored.

Ann Bay Cabins

Adorable cosy well equipped cabins. Both have amazing ensuites; spa or rain shower, small kitchenettes with a bar fridge, microwave, pots & electric frypan. Great selection of teas, coffee, & sugar, with a treat always left in the fridge. Our balcony is lovely spot to sit & watch the Eagles from or a sunrise/set. At night you can hear the Ringtail Possums, with their dear wee squeaks, while admiring some of the best night skies you’ll ever see. Aroura spotting can be done nearby.

Hellyer Beach Bungalow- Absolute Beachfront

North facing sunny, warm and welcoming, cosy for couples, big enough for a family with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fully self catering or you can access the local Tavern for excellent meals. There is a small garden providing herbs and usually some seasonal vegetables for you to use. Absolute beach frontage for your enjoyment- fishing, walking or swimming. View magical sunsets and sunrises in this unique part of the world. A great base to explore the iconic North West environment.

Bluff Hill Point

Huddled together in the midst of incredible wilderness, 12 shacks look out over the Indian Ocean. The weather dictates life here, and every day is a good day. Fine days for adventuring. Wild days for sitting around the fire, gazing out at the ocean as it breaks with ferocity against the jagged rocks which surround Tasmania’s unsung Westernmost point. Arthur River Spa Cottage

This amazing waterfront beach house has recently been refurbished to offer you modern comfort amongst the wild Arthur River landscape, and can sleep 10 people in 7 beds! The open plan kitchen / dining / lounge has wonderful large windows that make the most of the sea view, toasty open fireplace and a comfy leather lounge and satellite TV. Just outside is a glass sheltered North ( river facing ) outdoor entertainment deck with its own open potbelly fireplace, sound system and BBQ.

Mount View Marrawah

This unique place has a style all of its own. Nestled into the hill on the highest part of our farm sits our newly built 1 bedroom cottage. The space has a fully equiped kitchen, washer dryer combo, internet, smart tv and heating and cooling. Whilst it is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed the sofa does pull out into a bed should you require an additional guest or travelling with a friend. We have tried to make the most of the space to make it comfortable & relaxing.

Sanibonani cottage

A cosy granny flat ( studio ) with all the basic comforts for self catering, with private entrance in rural surroundings. The town of Smithton is in walking distance. Our family live on the property but you'll enjoy complete privacy. It's a great space for an overnight stopover or short term stay. Also ideal for anyone coming to the area for work purposes. Sanibonani means "Hello" in Zulu and we hope you will feel welcome and very much at home in our cottage.

Tarkinegrove, welcomes you to the Wild Side.

Located on the South Arthur River Touring Route just 10 mins from the Arthur River and 5 mins from the start of the Tarkine forest. A private cottage with abundant grounds and resident wildlife this is Tarkinegrove . Bird enthusiasts, photographers and artists will love Tarkinegrove. See the Platypus at dusk during season. Dozens of birds, Spotted Tail Quoll, Pademelons, & Eastern Barred Bandicoot do visit, again depending on the depending on the season.

Abbey's Cottage

Abbey’s Cottage is a spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the heart of Stanley. Features include 2 lounge rooms, a well-equipped kitchen with sea views, original deep bath, and cosy wood heating.
