Welcome to your mini mountain home! Hotel room/studio with some cooking facilities. Central Falls Creek village location. Walking distance to many restaurants. Ski in winter, including ski in ski out (snow depth dependent). Escape the heat to mountain breezes and bike or hike in summer! Small, but thoughtfully equipped. *winter 2025 is byo towels and linen due to a new baby and no capacity to do linen. Price altered accordingly. With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Off-Grid Retreat

Off-grid retreat … Dargo Viewz is a “hut” with a difference. The studio-style getaway is totally off-grid and set in a very peaceful, secluded area outside Dargo. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the Dargo valley. Winter mornings are special here – watch the fog clouds roll over the hills and meander through the valley. Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.

Alpine Heights! Spring, summer & autumn getaway 🌄

Boasting spectacular views.. Alpine Heights is a majestic location situated at the top of Mt Hotham. Come and stay and see the native spring flowers bloom, go for beautiful nature hikes in summer, and see local towns, warm colour array of falling leaves in autumn. Spectacular! The Mountain Farmhouse

The Mountain Farmhouse is located within close proximity to the Ski Resorts of; Mt Hotham (30min), Dinner Plain (20min) and just 20 minutes from the historical township of Omeo. Ideally located halfway along the Great Alpine Road for those making the iconic journey along this scenic route. The Farmhouse is situated on a 2300 acre family Cattle and Sheep farm alongside the Victoria River, making this the true High Country experience.
