The Hideaway Torquay - 200m Walk To The Beach

Created by people who don’t like having the doors closed, the house has been designed to make inside and outside feel like one... the covered veranda is a seamless extension of the home, where rattan furniture, swinging chairs, floor rugs, a bar and a floating lounge beneath the palm trees will make it hard to leave. Add to that a woodfire pizza oven, fire pit, BBQ, dartboard and outdoor games, and there’s seemingly no need to venture beyond the garden gate.... except the beach - only 200m away!

In the coastal village of Queenscliff, only 1.5hrs from Melbourne, with easy access to the Great Ocean Road. Your hot tub, set in the privacy of the rear garden & sunset from the adjacent walking path. Easy walk to Harbour, local shops/restaurants, Blues Train & beach. Enjoy beach days in this gorgeous little shack, walking distance to the river and everything else Ocean Grove has to offer. Rivershak is the ‘Rose’ amongst the thorns, standing out in its surrounds.Whilst we are in a complex of other shacks, we are the only one completely renovated. Don’t be deterred! Rivershak is is independently owned and so cute. Pet friendly is key here. The rear yard is secure, a beautiful grassy patch and lots of shelter for your fur baby.

Note: The studio is attached to our house, you may hear general life kitchen/tv noise, but you have a private entrance and secluded easterly deck. Tennis court available to use. Dog friendly. PLEASE - dog bath before arrival and bring a towel for muddy/sandy paws.

Roughly 900 metres to the beach.

Murlali - eco winery cabin, also Carinya,Amarroo

Designed by award winning architect Simone Koch, the cabin is about cooking, eating, drinking wine while being able to open right up to the beautiful Australian bush... The toilet is an outdoor organic system (based on the national park's toilets). Located at the start of the Great Ocean Road, only ten minutes from Torquay or famous Bells Beach. Complementary bottle of pinot from the winery on arrival. Please provide your own fire wood.
