Cabeira House (named for being the home there will be "along the path to the River") is located in the small village of Paradinha currently no permanent inhabitants. It is in a small valley, embedded in the Arouca Geopark. Excellent for those who love nature and quiet river. Near: Located 22km and 7km of Arouca Alvarenga, known for its superb steaks, beef breed Arouquesa. River Paiva much sought after by lovers of extreme sports (rafting, kayaking, climbing, canyoning). Arouca Geopark, several walking trails, Career Mill, Arouca Monastery, Frecha Mizarela (falling water), Saw da Freita, Pillory Alvarenga. Possibility of meals prepared at home ... breakfast, snacks, typical Portuguese food or something to your liking ... or even a surprise for someone special ... or .. a party Thematic ... the mot is released .. .

We are in Upper Douro, where the massive tourism didn´t arrive, right beside the Douro river. This is one of our 3 rooms. It has an air-conditioned, private WC (though out of the room) and a guitar. No TV. But we have a river, a boat, food, wine and the aim of making this an inspiration place.

Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Now, if you want to get to know a genuine Quinta do Douro, located in a place of unique beauty and tranquility, where you will be welcomed by those who put their hands (and feet) in the production of wine, we will do our best to provide you with a beautiful stay. We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.
