Photograph abundant wildlife - bald eagles, blue herons, osprey, deer, turkey and numerous waterfowl. Dine on the deck while enjoying beautiful sunsets.

Sailor's Cottage - Private Waterfront

Sailor's Cottage lets you get away from it all within walking distance of the charming and historic town of Oxford. This idyllic retreat on 29 acres is the perfect private hideaway for family and friends to enjoy the best of Eastern Shore living. The craftsman-built home is inviting and inspiring. Relax with your morning coffee on the screened-in porch, have cocktails on the dock, or take a paddle on protected Boone Creek. Longer stays are encouraged to take advantage of all there is to do.

We are a hobby farm with pygmy goats and free-range hens located along Beach Highway near Greenwood, Delaware, in the heart of the Mennonite Community (not to be confused with the Amish). We are centrally located in southern Delaware with many attractions within easy driving distance: Rehoboth Beach (35 minutes) Delaware State Fairgrounds (10 minutes) Dover Downs/Firefly (30 minutes) Ocean City, MD (50 minutes) Cape May/Lewes Ferry Terminal (30 minutes) DE Turf Sports Complex (20 minutes)

Rosses Chance Guest House

This lovely guest cottage is located on a historic 16 acre waterfront estate on Hudson Creek that includes a main house, barn, pool, dock and pond. Built in the 18th century tidewater style, the guesthouse is charming and well decorated and completely self efficient. A special place for your romantic getaway at any season of the year. Recently cell phone service has improved and is reliable. However, in the country, WiFi internetl can be slow at times as well as the Wifi TV streaming.

We are a kid-friendly, dog-friendly host that enjoys everything Cambridge has to offer. We can accommodate larger groups and multiple families, our best friends own the home next door and is also listed on AirBNB. This lovely guest cottage is located in the historic district of Oxford, walkable to town attractions and restaurants. While the main house is a registered historical property built in the 19th century Victorian style, the guesthouse is charming and well decorated with modern comforts. The cottage is completely independent from the main house. Make this your special place for a romantic getaway at any season of the year.

Cottage on Cabin Creek

The cottage is the perfect getaway for couples. It is located on the water with two private piers for you to use. You may enjoy fishing, crabbing, kayaking, canoeing or bird watching from the piers. There is a charcoal grill available and a fire pit. The cottage is secluded enough for relaxation, but not far from local attractions and restaurants. Note the cottage is best suited for 1 to 2 people.
