It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

Big Brown Barn

Our barn is an amazing space. Built in the early 1910's and completely renovated with all the modern conveniences we love. Central a/c and heat, ceiling fans, flat screen tv's, wi fi, fully equipped kitchen. But the best part is all our antiques, collectibles and historic items on the walls. it is an incredible place that will be a treat for you to stay in. Due to the age and delicate nature of those items we have decided to only offer this space to adults (18), sorry no children or pets.

Welcome to Hacienda de las Rosas, retreat, and home of Hacienda Happy Tails, an Animal Sanctuary. We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! Kings Canyon: hour to entrance gate Sequoia: hour and a half to Giant Sequoia Trees Due to safety reasons we do not allow children of any ages at the treehouse. Please do not ask for exceptions.
