Enjoy staying at this family friendly guest house located in the peaceful countryside. Large front yard for outdoor activities. Outdoor amenities advertised through the app are provided upon prior request. Located on County Q south out of Independence about 3/4 miles Pricing Base weekday-$150 Base weekend-$175 Cleaning fee-$50 Guest fee-$20 per person per night after 2nd guest. We have a two night minimum. For one night stays an additional $125 will be charged through the app upon arrival.

The Hogstad Homestead

The Hogstad Homestead has been in our family for nearly 70 years. The name is in honor of my great grandparents Ardell&Elaine Hogstad who bought the property in the early 1950's. They raised their two children there and also operated a farm for many years. Since then it has been home to many family members. In 2017 my husband & I had the opportunity to buy it. It was home to us for 5 amazing years where we created many happy memories. We are now ready to share this special property with others!

This home is completely renovated with a large porch to enjoy the view of the lake. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 updated bathroom and can sleep 5 guests. Enjoy the large shaded yard for games or relaxing during the day. Plenty of birds, ducks, eagles and wildlife to watch too!

It features four patio areas, a partially fenced yard, a wheelchair ramp, and handicap-accessible first floor, a large kitchen and dining area, sunroom, 7 TV’s, Wi-Fi, full laundry, free parking, fire pit and beautiful views of the Mississippi River. We welcome dogs as pets only, sorry no cats. One block from Main Street Trempealeau!

Sonney Lodge

Perched on a hilltop in scenic Newcomb Valley, Sonney Lodge provides a quiet, country setting while still only a 10 minute drive to downtown Arcadia. Located on a dead end with a private drive and no through traffic, the lodge features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room and lower level entertainment room. A covered deck wraps around 2 sides of the home offering spectacular views of the surrounding hills and countryside.

The Granary Guesthouse @ Harvest Home Farm

Harvest Home Farm is located at the end of a dead end road nestled in a valley, just 4 miles northeast of Whitehall, Wisconsin, in beautiful Trempealeau County. The 160 acre farm has a long term focus on raising grass fed sheep and poultry. We also have a produce garden, a berry patch, and an apple orchard. The farm has 80 acres of mixed hardwoods and softwoods and an abundance of wildlife as well as a network of walking trails.
