It's minutes walk from the iconic Cataract Gorge, with all its wildlife, a swimming pool, picnic options and a range of moderate to more strenuous walking tracks. To get to the CBD all you need is two feet and a heartbeat, taking a 1.5 km downhill route through parks and the famous Charles Street strip evoking our little bit of Melbourne’s Lygon Street. Sun Studio welcomes you for your short stay in this lovely part of Launceston. This one bedroom studio is private and peaceful, in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. It offers beautiful views from the bedroom over Cataract Gorge. It is a short 7 minute drive to the city, and can be walked, but please note that we located high above both the city and gorge (hence the lovely views) and so walking is definitely for those used to steep hills.
