An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Bungalow in the Redwoods

This cozy bungalow (225 sq.ft.) is situated on 6 acres of redwood forest within walking distance to the coastal village of Trinidad and 30 minutes drive to the tallest trees in the world, amazing hiking trails and the rugged beaches of the Northern California coast. Immerse yourself in the glories of the redwood forest around an evening fire under the stars. The Bungalow is private, freshly remodeled, clean and comfortable with beautiful afternoon light, shaded in the morning for sleeping in.

The perfect home base for exploring the North Coast, this quiet and peaceful farmhouse was originally built in 1914. Ocean view from the backyard and main bedroom. Located on a large, pastoral lot in one of the most desirable areas of Trinidad. This adorable house has been completely remodeled and now has all the modern conveniences. A few minutes walk to College Cove and Trinidad State parks to the south as well as a "secret" beach located at Martin Creek trail just to the north. Close to town.

On the Hammond Coastal Trail, this cozy eco-friendly private bedroom suite with attached full bath and expanded kitchenette has its’ own private entry, yard and off-street parking. Set back hidden from the road in a bamboo oasis, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport. 30 miles north to Redwood National & State Parks and 60 south to Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Your comfort is very important to me!

Experience coastal charm and modern comfort at our newly updated historic home in Samoa. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath retreat exudes character and offers a relaxing getaway just a short walk from the beach. Unwind in the hot tub and entertain your group on the beautiful back patio. The cozy bedrooms provide a peaceful night's sleep, and the inviting living spaces are perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. Bring your pup and explore all that Humboldt has to offer.

Pilot Rock Cottage

This little cottage has a view of the ocean, is private and in a quiet neighborhood, and is great home base for exploring the local area, or just enjoying reading by the fire. The house has all that you need for a relaxing get away. We lived in this home for several years and therefore it has all that you need such as a full kitchen, linens, washer/dryer, etc. We now provide WiFi. We also take COVID-19 seriously and ask that you observe all recommended precautions.

Eco Conscious Mini Apartment

Petite Suite,3 blocks from town, in a circle of Redwoods overlooking orchard,forest. Double bed dressed organic sheets, comforter,and cotton and wool blankets. Clawfoot bathtub/shower with organic towels,Dr. Bronners' soap. Shares porch with hosts,their two sweet dogs,1 super friendly kitty. See property description for abbreviated cooking area description. There are four walls with soundproofing between the two units. Shares property with three other dwellings.

Charming in every way, this ocean view property invites you to spend your mornings on the patio, your days exploring the plethora of natural amenities that our area offers, and your evenings on our western-facing deck watching the sunset with a wine glass in hand. Extra clean, with an abundance of natural light, and a fully-equipped kitchen with everything that you would need for a short or a long- term stay. The unit is one side of a fully-separated duplex.
