The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal. The space is shoe and scent free.

The Airstream is tucked away in a grove of redwoods next to a seasonal creek on the rugged north coast of California right outside the picturesque village of Trinidad. Hiking, rugged beaches, birding, wildlife viewing and a 30 minute drive to the tallest trees in the world in nearby Redwood National Park!

Set back hidden from the road in a bamboo oasis, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Cocooned by Redwoods, Sitka Spruce and Huckleberries. A ladder leads you to the cozy sleeping loft, where you can gaze at the stars through the two huge skylights. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

Our 710 sq. ft. attached guest house has a small fenced in yard and sits close enough to stroll down to view the ocean or take a 5 min. drive to enjoy the local Hammond hiking/bike trails, and nearby shops and restaurants. An easy trip from Arcata airport (ACV) or Hwy 101 and close access to the areas known beaches, redwood forests, lagoons and marshes to explore. Humboldt Cal Poly is located just 6 miles South.

Experience nature in comfort in a glamping dome with an outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining. Please read all of the property description before booking. The property is in a redwood forest with a good size meadow for sunshine and flowers. It's a great base camp for exploring the beautiful beaches, Redwood forest and local cities of Trinidad and Arcata. Maximum 3 guests, or 4 guests if one or more guests are under 12.

Popeye's Cottage in the Redwoods

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This cozy cottage is nestled on four and a half acres of beautiful second growth redwoods just outside the town of Trinidad. It is a small and simple cottage with three beds and all the necessities needed to cook. The cottage's main heat source is a gas fireplace. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to.

A cozy experience at this studio located just minutes from the heart of Arcata and the beautiful redwoods awaits you! There is one queen sized bed. This property is located in a friendly neighborhood, and it has an added convenience of being right near a grocery store. These conveniences may not always bring the quietest location, but you’ll feel like one of the locals. Amenities: Free parking, WiFi, a mini-kitchen.
