The Whale House is situated on the premises of Mdumbi Backpackers which makes it a lovely private option with access to everything the backpackers has to offer. Guests have access to Mdumbi beach which is a 3 minute walk down the hill. Guests have access to activities offered by the backpackers such as massages, cultural tours, cave hikes and kayaks on the beautiful mdumbi river as well as a restaurant and coffee shop on site. The house is the perfect spot for relaxing with your family/friends.

Barely noticed, The Hideout is tucked among the trees, along the Bomvu River where it opens out to the Indian Ocean, the beach is 200m walk down the river bank from our private gate.
