A standalone self catering cottage on Happy Valley farm - 30kms from Hogsback and 30kms from Cathcart,all gravel🌳🏡🌳 Perfect for an escape from the busy city of a stop over on a road trip 🚗 Gone fishing 🎣 : Guests have access to trout and bass fishing dams. A rod fee applies. You can keep 1 fish per rod (subject to meeting size requirements), after that it’s catch and release. Sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms - 2 x double beds, 2x single beds. Please note: Road is very bad at the moment

Sam's Pad, Timberlea Farm

Sam's pad consists of a self contained "granny flat" nestling under the Amathole Mountains, offering - peace and tranquillity. There is a farmer's market every three months where one can purchase a variety of things from clothing to aloes. The granny flat has its own entrance, parking space, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower. We live next door and can supply home made bread, rusks, fresh farm eggs or leave you undisturbed. There is no load shedding because we are on solar power

Mbashe River Heights is self catering accommodation situated just off the N2 at Mbashe River Bridge 30km from Idutywa and 55km from Mthata, in in a rural village called Mzinya close to Qunu(Mandelas home and burial place) and Mvezo(Mandelas birth place). The Mbashe river is ideal for fishing small mouth yellow fish, carp, palling and barbell. Beautiful area for motorbikes and mountain bikes. Birdlife great including vulture breeding ground, secretary birds, fish eagles, hawks. Great for reps.

More than a century old, our little stone cottage tells the tale of a once-flour-mill and a dearly loved Aunty Georgie who called it her home for nearly 30 years.

Misty Oaks, is a self-catering cottage on Clifton-farm, near Hogsback. Boasting with breath-taking views over the mountains. If taking long walks, trout-fishing and pure nature bliss is your idea of a weekend away…then this is the place to be! The Cottage accommodates up to 4 people and consists of two en-suite bedrooms, an open plan fully-equipped kitchen and lounge area. It also boasts an indoor braai. The spacious veranda is perfect for lazy afternoons. Full DSTV & Wifi.

Hornbills Forest Cottages

Hornbills Forest Cottages is situated about 5 kilometres out of Stutterheim on the edge of the Amatola Mountains and the beautiful Afro Montaine Forest. The area is quiet and peaceful. Yellowwood Cottage has two bedrooms with three beds in each room, a lounge with fireplace and DSTV and a kitchenette. The cottage has lovely views of the forest which is across the stream on the edge of our garden. There is a walking trail in the forest with access to the main forest trails.

Tolokazi AirBnB and Guest house

Tolokazi Air BnB is situated at extension 6, Butterworth. Its a quite and neat house, spacious with big yard. Security gate, Safety is the priority. There is Gcuwa dam that is a walking distance from the house. Transport is is available at an extra cost. Butterworth is a centre of Mthatha and East London. Walter Sisulu University (WSU) is just 15 minutes drive. Sea/beaches are just 1hour. Property is non-smoking with 2 double beds, 1 queen bed and 2 single beds.
