Enjoy summer days or wintry splendor. We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, ski slopes, and Mackinaw Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

The open kitchen and living room layout upstairs is a perfect setting for friends and family to connect and relax.

The Apple House is an updated and furnished 1928, 1100 sq ft cottage. It is in a private wooded location on 15 acres, set 500 ft off the road. The space is light and airy with ceiling fans and has central heat and air for your comfort. Enjoy the pastoral view from the sunroom, cook in the well equipped kitchen, and enjoy your beverages from the wine fridge. There is a 55" Smart TV with a Xumo streaming device with Spectum TV and WiFi.
