We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Studio

Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

The Songbird | Waterfront Escape

Where the sea sings and time slows… On Bruny Island’s quiet edge, The Songbird - a 1960s shack, lovingly restored - offers a romantic hideaway just metres from the water’s edge. Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Tyenna Cottage is the perfect haven to enjoy the sights and sounds of the crystal-clear waters rushing and cascading over the river rocks of the ever-flowing Tyenna River. With over 200 meters of direct private, easy access river frontage you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and take in the true beauty of this magic location. This being the only cottage on the property you don't have to share the space with anyone.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
