Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa was built in the 1960's by eccentric author Hein Wicht. The Spanish Hacienda home was built as a retirement hideaway. Hein chose the pristine site for its breathtaking view of Lake St Lucia and tranquil forest surrounds. Lovingly restored this forest retreat now has 3 en suite bedrooms, swimming pool and entertainment areas with BBQ facilities. A 10 hectare nature reserve surrounds the villa. The sundowner deck has the best views of Lake St Lucia, perfect for sundowners and sunrises.

Khangela Private Game Lodge-Self-catering

Main Lodge is the living area, bedrooms are 3 separate chalets. Our Lodge is a haven to unwind, close to family-friendly activities. Belvedere Cottage is situated on Belvedere Game Ranch, a private game reserve. The cottage is next to the farm house with a private view of the natural bushveld. The unit has a seperate double room and a sleeper couch in the living room where 2 kids can sleep for free. Small kitchen with fridge, gas plate, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. There is also private barbecue facilities. No load shedding. This is a perfect stop on route to Mozambique, Kosi bay or Sodwana.

Firefly Farm is a peaceful paradise overlooking the Greater St Lucia Lake, where pelicans and flamingos frequently glide by. Our charming self-catering cabin offers a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge, open-plan kitchen, and a deck with breathtaking views. Located on a small indigenous bush farm in Zululand, you'll encounter chickens, ducks, dogs, a cat & a duiker roaming freely. Weltevreden cottage is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped self-catering 5 sleeper unit with an air-conditioned open plan lounge and kitchen. The cottage has an outdoor veranda area where guests can enjoy their morning coffee and summer evening braai’s. The cottage is located on a small privately owned and managed game farm that borders the agricultural and tourism hub of Hluhluwe. The cottage is a short walking distance from the Ngweni Railway brewery and restaurant.

The spacious self catering cottage has 2 ensuite airconditioned bedrooms with luxury linen and bath towels. The bathrooms, tho dated, are clean and tidy. Our coffee bar is stocked with homemade rusks, coffee, tea, and sugar. There is also milk in the fridge. The lounge and patio area have beautiful views of the Falsebay Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped. Quoted rate is for up to 2 people, the unit can sleep 4. Any more than 2 people, then the extra fee of R250pppn applies.
