The Old Workshop and Tool Box at Mount Melsetter

Mount Melsetter is excited to introduce The Old Workshop. Lovingly renovated and restored to embrace it's heritage, this little gem provides the perfect stopover and Karoo experience. Exquisite sunrises and sunsets, an abundance of Blue Cranes and the wide open skies of the Karoo make this an ideal retreat. The Old Workshop has one bedroom (king bed) with an en suite bathroom. The adjoining Tool Box has a double bed and bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and Braai. Meals provided on request.

Sheeprun Farmstay

Sheeprun Farmstay is ideal for family holidays, weekend getaways or overnight stops. Bring your mountain bikes or hike the surrounding mountains, view some historical Bushman paintings. The Pot River runs through the farm. Ideal for tubing and swimming and also supports a very healthy stock of wild rainbow trout. The farm is conveniently situated close to some of the highest altitude gravel passes of the Eastern Cape Highlands which are any 4x4 enthusiast or motorbiker's dream.

Our Airbnb unit, crafted from repurposed shipping containers, nestles amid lush mountain forestry. Its rustic, modern design integrates large windows that invite natural light. Cozy and efficient, the interior features sustainable materials, and a blend of minimalist decor enhances the spaciousness. Ideal for nature lovers, it provides direct access to hiking trails and a serene space to unwind in the tranquil ambiance of a mountain town.

Die Tuinhuisie

Die Tuinhuisie is a comfortably furnished self-catering unit for 2 people in Elliot. The unit comprises of a bedroom with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, an electric frying pan, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Outdoor braai facilities are provided, and covered parking is provided behind an electronic gate. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

The Tree House Coffee Shop and Guesthouse Room 4

Set on the edge of a small bluegum tree forest on the edge of town. You have the benefit of being close to shops and restaurants but feel like you are in nature. Safe and secure parking with spacious units complete with a kitchen. You can do self catering or ask us to cook delicious meals for you. All meals are an additional cost. Breakfast is served in the Coffee Shop, please arra the age of 12 with prior arrangement.

Tortoni Guest Farm is conveniently situated between Maclear and Ugie on the R56. 800m from the turn off is the little oasis resting between the picturesque mountains of the Southern Drakensberg. 3 tastefully decorated ensuite units are surrounded by beautiful lush gardens. A perfect stopover for families.

Fully equipped kitchen, electricity, hot water, a stove, fridge and other furnishings. Three bedrooms with one bathroom. The open plan kitchen - lounge has a jetmaster & firewood is provided.Breakfast and candle lit dinners on request at the farmhouse.

D`s Lodge Batchelor Unit A

A home away from home, this apartment features a TV, kitchenette with refridgerator, microwave and 1-burner gas stove, and a patio with braai facilities. All linen and towels are provided, and the en-suite bathroom includes a toilet, shower and basin.
