Highbourne Cottages - Aloe

An eco-friendly, off grid self-catering family style cottages part of the Monks Cowl Drakensberg World Heritage Site in KZN, South Africa. This is the perfect home away from home for anyone looking to relax. Whether it is hiking in the mountains, surrounded by beautiful nature, wildlife and birds, relaxing next to our natural stream that runs through the property with a book or wondering around the shops and restaurants down the road - there is something for everyone here at Highbourne Cottages.

Leopards Lair Lodge

Come and unwind with family and friends at this peaceful mountain lodge which is situated on a working sheep farm. Enjoy sweeping mountain views and unbeatable sunsets. Go fishing in our bass dams, unleash your shooting skills at our long distance shooting range, enjoy beautiful scenic walks or snuggle up next to our wood burning fire place for a complete farm style getaway. NB: As this farm is a working farm, it is advisable for vehicles with good ground clearance (4x4 is not necessary).

Zebra View 117, Cathkin Estates

This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is ready to welcome you home. This property offers a tranquil and picturesque setting that will capture your heart, in a secure access-controlled estate. As you enter the house, you'll be greeted by stunning views of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains. One of the highlights of this property is the crystal clear pool. Take a refreshing dip on hot summer days or unwind by its shimmering waters as you soak up the sunshine.

Bee’s Knees Cottage

Self-catering 5 sleeper cottage 6kms outside Winterton on a gravel road. Close to the Central Drakensberg and many family activities. We are close to the N3, 2½hours from Durban and 3½hours from Johannesburg. A quiet, peaceful setting with beautiful views. There is only one unit which is adjacent to the main farm house & is within the electrified fence with remote controlled gate & secure parking. Our dogs also roam the property and love to welcome our guest.

The Boho House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Surrounded by the magical Drakensberg mountains, just 600m away from the Mountain Hiking Range you will find a beautiful waterfall just 2km's away form our driveway. We have a small lake on the property a flowing river rushing through the bottom of the garden, the property is massive so perfect for trails for young ones near the river there are also pockets and pools to swim in the river.

Ouma se plaashuis - Martine se Kamer

This unique farmhouse has an eclectic antique style of its own. Ouma and Cas share this spacious home with love and a flair for hospitality. The property is on an 800ha secure farm estate so guests can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing and being at peace in nature. Room 1 has a double bed and a small cot. The bathroom has a shower and bath. Guests have access to a shared living/dining room and kitchen.

Farhills Guesthouse

My place is close to great views, art and culture, valley bakery, golf courses, fishing, adventure centres, mtb biking, trail running and hikingT. You’ll love my place because of the space, cleanliness, view, homely feel. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

The Palm Luxury Suite @ Tranquility Town Stay

This suite has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, kitchenware and coffee and tea maker. Amenities include air-conditioning and a smart TV. The patio offers outdoor seating and overlooks the lush garden.

Deluxe Quadruple Room

This room can accommodate 4 guests and is furnished with 4 twin beds that can be converted into 2 king-size beds. There is a desk space, and a chair. The room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a basin, and a toilet.

Linglela Lodge | Standard Queen Units

Each cosy unit contains a queen-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and is fitted with a TV with OpenView channels, a bar fridge, microwave and tea and coffee station. A portable braai is available on request.

Deluxe Double

This deluxe twin bed comes with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. There are coffee/tea facilities available for your enjoyment and also a television with DStv.
