Nestled in the woods, accessible year round. Very private & quiet. No hunting on this property but enjoy great fishing. Pizza & burger take-out just 10 min away. Lots of water close by for kayaking/canoeing. ATV trails just a few km away. Firewood supplied. Please bring your own drinking / wash water. Pets welcome, but Not on the furniture unless you’ve brought a cover. Never leave pets unattended. No running water. Outhouse/toilet facility. Bring your own disposable propane tank if BBQ’ing.

Welcome to Hemlock Cabin, a Scandinavian A-Frame retreat in Nova Scotia’s peaceful countryside. Perfect for families or groups of up to 6 adults and 2 kids, the cabin features three bedrooms: a king master, a queen room, and a fun bunk room for four children. Enjoy direct lake access with a private dock for swimming and relaxing. New in August 2025, guests can also unwind in our premium four-person cedar barrel sauna, imported from Estonia and equipped with a modern Huum 9kW heater.

Discover the cozy cottages on sucker lake that offer a quiet place to relax and do some fishing wether its through the ice or from a boat when weather allows! Cottages have a nice southern exposure in the summer! Cottages are just down the road from big mush mush lake which has a public beach area and also sweet land beach is located a bit further down the road! We have lots of wildlife to see from a local beaver to bald eagles and cows grazing on the farm across the lake!

Burns Cove cottage is a spacious, fully equipped vacation home. The waterfront location makes it a prime spot to relax, view nature. It’s also a great location to bike/ hike/drive the Lighthouse Route and Rails to Trails. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Bridgewater have some amazing local eateries, craft breweries, local wineries and lots of shops. A quick drive to the free ferry ride gets you to the LaHave bakery, crafts, pottery, art galleries and many beaches.
