Chatsworth Retreat

Nestled amongst native trees in iconic Chatsworth Road, this accommodation provides privacy in a standalone location. Located next to our home, this is a separate suite and bathroom which has TV, bar fridge, some kitchenette amenities and a heater. Great overnight location after work commitments, a family occasion or for a weekend away. This is a very quiet location with a short drive or ten-minute walk to Silverstream Village, Supermarket, Railway Station, restaurants and a local Gastro pub.

Kitchenette type facilities so you can cook a basic meal. Conveniently located a 2min walk from Heretaunga train station taking you directly to Westpac stadium / the city, also close to Royal Wellington Golf Club & Trentham Race Course it is the ideal place to stay if you are attending an event at one of these venues. Refurbished to a high standard & attention to detail, it offers a peaceful, comfortable getaway, in a delightful private rural setting. Upper Hutt, Brewtown & the railway station are just 10min away & 20 min from the Wairarapa, the wine trail & the many cafes, restaurants & boutique shops. Wellington & all that this vibrant city has to offer is a 40 mins drive.

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Enjoy our 1 bedroom house that is 5 min drive from the Upper Hutt city centre with quick access to the motorway to Wellington City. Open plan full kitchen, dining room and lounge with everything you would need to cook a meal. Separate bedroom with a new queen bed. If required a single bed can be added to the lounge to provide extra guest. Bathroom with new shower, toilet and vanity. Washing machine and dryer in the bathroom and a clothes line. Off street parking for two cars. Pet friendly.

Charming self-contained upstairs suite, full of light, with lovely outlook on our beautiful seaside village. Five minutes walk to beach and Queen Elizabeth Park, a wonderful forest and dune environment great for walks, biking, picnics. Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with a well stocked local shop, a fruit and veg shop, 3 cafes and a family friendly pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Escarpment walk. It is an easy train or drive to Wellington.
