The OverFlo is a cozy, compact self-contained space with private access & courtyard, situated in the picturesque Kaitoke countryside. Refurbished to a high standard & attention to detail, it offers a peaceful, comfortable getaway, in a delightful private rural setting. Upper Hutt, Brewtown & the railway station are just 10min away & 20 min from the Wairarapa, the wine trail & the many cafes, restaurants & boutique shops. Wellington & all that this vibrant city has to offer is a 40 mins drive.

Mimi's House with Breakfast

Spacious, modern, warm, in a great location between Wellington and the Wairarapa. Private, consists of 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 2 single beds), a bathroom (shower, hand basin, toilet) and kitchenette (microwave, kettle, toaster, hotplate, fridge, cutlery, crockery, table, chairs). These rooms are for the sole use of guests. There is also a shared lounge/dining area with fire place (winter) and large screen TV (Freeview and Netflix). Free Wifi. Safe off-street parking. Simple breakfast included.

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Akatarawa Valley Retreat

A self-contained 2 bedroomed guest suite and lounge (attached to main house) surrounded by garden and paddocks to roam, forest and bush to explore, rivers to wade and swim in with lovely areas for all ages. Climb the hill through pine trees, pet the goats and ponies or just stay by the beautifully warm logfire in winter or sit on the deck listening to the birds. Staglands Wildlife Park and the Karapoti Track nearby, Upper Hutt 20 mins and Wellington 50 mins so we have it all! Come and try it!

Bush cottage

Home away from home if you are working in the Wellington area for a few days. A rural retreat for travelers within easy reach of the city. The cottage backs onto a QE2 forest reserve with some interesting native birds making regular appearances. Only 35 minutes from central Wellington, yet you can enjoy this quiet retreat amongst nature. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Easy access to cycle Te Awakairangi /Hutt River trail or car/bike to central Upper Hutt and Railway stations.

Farm Creek Homestead

British country style Homestead surrounded by ancient rainforest & birdsong in a picturesque valley. The homestead is located on 12 acres of land that is managed biodynamically, and there is a beautiful creek that meanders through the property. The house looks out on to Kaitoke Regional Park and is in close proximity to the Tararua and Remutaka Ranges and there are plenty of hikes and bike trails within the area and the home is located an easy 45 minute drive to the capital Wellington.

Prairie Holm Rustic Cabins

Secluded rustic cabins nestled among five acres of regenerating native garden. Prairie Holm Farm is a working farm located along the edge of Lake Wairarapa and foothills of the rugged Remutaka Ranges. Accommodation consists of a generous sized lounge/kitchen/bathroom cabin and a DETACHED bedroom sleeping cabin. The bathroom is a unique "camping style" room giving an open air feel. NOTE: Prairie Holm is a working Dairy, Sheep & Beef farm - NO Pets allowed & NO Wifi available.

Close to Brewtown

A lovely garden to relax in the sun, 5 minute walk to Brewtown and 10 the town centre. Small to medium home with three bedrooms, I am renting out my two spare bedrooms each with a double bed (note extra cost if both rooms occupied). Prefer two single ladies or a couple. Two friendly cats live here and they like to roam everywhere. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared with the owner. Free wifi Breakfast is on a help-yourself basis and includes toast, cereal and tea/coffee
