Across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course (Jazz Fest), corner market, Catty Shack (best tacos in NOLA), Jockey’s Pub (great neighborhood bar), and Toast Fairgrounds (amazing breakfast spot). ½ mile walk or ride to Liuzza's by the track, Swirl wine shop, Fair grinds coffee shop, Café Degas, Lola, Santa Fe Restaurant (best margaritas in town), Terranova Market and Conseco’s Market. You will have access to your private courtyard and the entire suite. We will be available for most guest check-ins and welcome you to hang with us on our porch under the large oak tree with a cool beverage. There are so many wonderful places in this city and we enjoy making recommendations based on your interests. The suite is situated across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course, where Jazz Fest is held, the corner market, and Catty Shack, which has the best tacos in NOLA. The neighborhood is close to the French Quarter and City Park. Free street parking. There are always spaces available except during Jazz Fest. During this time, you can park in our driveway. The larger bedroom has a microwave, small refrigerator, keurig coffee maker and has an en suite bathroom. We pride ourselves in cleanliness and wash all linens before each guest arrival. The "mother in law" apartment you are renting is in a lovely uptown neighborhood 4 blocks from the St Charles Street Car , 1.5 blocks from Magazine St and Magazine St Bus. I live in the front part of the home and I've lived here for my whole life. This apartment is great for travelers to New Orleans and is in one of the most desired parts of the city, Uptown New Orleans. Nearby restaurants include Casamento's, Superior Seafood, Osteria Lupo, Le Petit Grocery and Shaya.

The Hidden Gem is a private apartment at the rear of our home of 30 years. Guests will enjoy a cozy living room, full kitchen, bedroom with brand new queen size mattress, and bath. The apartment sleeps two. The living room is comfortably furnished, with a sofa (queen sofa bed), armchair, coffee table, lamps, window. There is an outdoor patio with table and chairs, as well as off street parking with a locking gate. A no parking sign is respected by our neighbors.

Circa 1834 brick row house with a ground floor suite with newly renovated full bathroom, small kitchen. It has a private street entrance and courtyard access. We are two blocks from the Convention Center. Please note we are not on a quiet corner in the Crescent city, during working weekdays it’s busy. Nights and weekends however are restful and relaxing. If any city noise is an issue for you though we suggest staying somewhere else.
