Saligna Dam View Guest House

Beautiful thatched cottage with an extra Rondavel set on our farm in the Northern Drakensberg area. It has its own private garden with lawns down to the edge of the dam. In the corner is a gorgeous private swimming pool to enjoy sundownders in on hot lazy summer evenings or keep the kiddies busy. The pool is safely fenced off. Ideal for a couple or a larger group. Lovely farm holiday for all. Although it can sleep 10 comfortably it is perfect for a cosy get away for just two. You will love it.

The Loft Room@Craigrossie is a self-catering space for two on Craigrossie Game Farm, 8 km (3kms on good gravel road) outside of Clarens towards Golden Gate. The self-contained space has a loft room with views over the dams & mountains, a queen bed with 100% cotton bedding, bathroom and a kitchenette downstairs. A borehole supplies water. DSTV, WiFi, tea, coffee & kitchen essentials (spices & olive oil) are provided. Bring your own rod for catch & release trout fishing (daily rod fees apply).

Sunbird Cottage - Relaxed Farm Getaway

Sunbird Cottage is on a working farm 30km from Volksrust and Wakkerstroom Wetlands, it is a place to come and relax and recharge, we are off grid. There is great birding, walking, mountain biking and bass fishing on site, there are also kayaks for the dams. The cottage overlooks a gorge that goes down to the Slang River with an indigenous forest and has great views over the valley towards Amajuba Mountain and Battlefields for those interested in history.

Our house is close to the Central Drakensberg and 5km outside of Winterton. You’ll love panoramic view of the Drakensberg. A fireplace and an entertainment area with a pool and table tennis table. Midway between Johannesburg and Durban. Original stone built mountain cottage with a thatch roof overlooking the Drankensberg. Magnificent views and a champagne climate. The house is situated in a Conservancy protecting the unique fauna and flora of the African Montane biosome.

Rustic rock building with extremely large and spacious rooms, a very big stoep overlooking the Vaaldam. Perfect place to take a break with the whole family, pets included, we are very pet friendly. Bird watching is a must, walk along the water's edge and catch some fish.
