Relax and enjoy astounding glacier and mountain views from every window in Glacier View, Alaska. This is an authentic, spacious Alaskan log cabin built in 1973. The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. The cabin has things you'd expect like a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and little extra surprises like in floor heat and a fireplace. Conveniently located within walking distance to groceries, gas, the small boat harbor, museums, shops, and restaurants. If you have questions about the cabin or Valdez, feel free to ask!

Glacier View Cabin #1 Queen bed w/2 Bunks

Glacier View Alaska near Pinochle Trail. Cabin #1 Small cabin at the Pinochle Trail Campground and near trailhead and the Matanuska Glacier. Hike or ride from your cabin. 4 sleeping bunks with foam mattresses, electricity, heater, coffeepot, and hot water kettle provided but you'll need to bring pillows, sleeping bags, and WATER. An outhouse is in the woods by the cabin and in the campground. If the snow is too deep you may have to park at the trailhead parking and walk 300 feet to the cabin.

With a fully equipped kitchen, a kid corner and good reads, you will feel right at home.

Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, it's a nice, peaceful cabin in the heart of Alaska! Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND INFANTS.

Our cabin is located just off the North Glenn Highway 62 miles from Anchorage, Alaska and 15 miles from Palmer, Alaska.
