A great base for discovering Valentia Island, Skellig Rocks, Numerous Beaches & Golf Courses. Located within the Dark Sky Reserve, the Farmhouse has 3 Large Roof Windows, so star gazing can be done while relaxing indoors!! Ideal location for walkers with the Beentee loop walk and Cnoc na dTobar pilgrim path close by.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunroom/dining room looking out to the mountain views all around. the bathroom is newly refurbished with a spacious shower, a toilet and wash hand basin. there are 2 bedrooms. one doube, one twin. Courtyard cottages

This cottage is one of six cottages in a restored courtyard . Each cottage is individually designed with lots of attention to detail. On arrival the guests will be greeted with freshly baked scones and a welcome basket. Fresh flowers in all the rooms and fires and candles lighting in the winter months. The cottages are a mix of modern with a vintage style and are extremely relaxing for both couples and families. The images are a mixture of the different cottages we have available.

The Turf Cottage

Traditional meets modern in this fully renovated Farm Cottage set on a working smallholding. A spacious loft bedroom with a cosy reading nook overlooks fields and animals, while dramatic mountain and valley views fill the windows with light. Newly renovated annexed flat to our family home. You will enjoy peaceful surroundings and beautiful views of Portmagee channel and Valentia Island. We are also the founders of Portmagee Whiskey and currently in development of our micro distillery and visitor experience so a tour and a whiskey tasting can be easily arranged. Coumeenole beach is just 2 miles away and Ventry beach is just 4 miles away. Dingle is 9 miles away and Killarney is 50 miles.

This traditional farmhouse features a large garden and is situated on a quiet road in the heart of the small island. A road to the shore is just 1km away, while stunning cliffs for walkers are about 2km off. Portmagee and Knights Town are just a 4-minute drive. The monastic Skellig Island (a Star Wars filming location) is a quick boat ride from Portmagee. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs during your stay. 🐕

Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
