Small Town Bungalow

Escape to peaceful small-town living in this cozy two-bedroom bungalow, comfortably sleeping up to six guests. Stay in and relax on the sun porch, or spend the day exploring Turkey Run State Park with our guest park pass. Enjoy farm fresh eggs and locally roasted coffee for breakfast. Pet friendly. The Clinton Getaway House

Blend of historic charm and modern comfort in this restored 1920s home allows guests full access to the main level, including a spacious living room, and for stays over two days, the fully equipped kitchen. The upstairs bedroom offers added privacy with no shared bedroom walls. We share our home with three medium‑to‑large, very friendly dogs. If you prefer not to interact with them, they can stay in their sunroom. They’re gated downstairs, so no dog hair near the bedrooms. Plus! a fun backyard.

The Round House

The main portion of the home is a converted grain bin dating from the late ‘70s, and contains the living room, dining area, a partial kitchen, a half bath, and the master bed. The remainder of the home is an alcove with the stove and microwave, a laundry room, full bath, a second bedroom addition, and a single car garage. Please note that the most convenient entry into the home is through the second bedroom. Covington has hard water, please be aware there will be calcium clouding on fixtures.

Relax with the whole family in our beautifully refinished historic home. Guests enjoy two comfortable bedrooms connected by a private Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Shared spaces include a spacious living room, dining room, and backyard oasis with a pool, hot tub, covered deck, and grills. One room includes a refrigerator/freezer and Keurig with coffee pods. We have three friendly dogs who can remain in their sunroom during your stay if preferred. You must be at least 21 to rent these rooms.

Lake House

Enjoy the peace and solitude as you explore the 5 lakes and hiking trails on our 750 acre slice of Heaven. Enjoy fishing from the bank or book an exciting guided fishing trip for an additional fee. Relax at the large fire pit or enjoy a nap in one of the lakeside hammocks. Check out the 31 covered bridges in historic Parke County or the local Sycamore Winery that is just down the road. Only 15 minutes from Terre Haute which is home to several universities and many dining options.

Artesian Springs Calm Retreat

Historic property that has an amazing story to tell! In the little town of Silverwood, Indiana a booming metropolis existed in the late 1800s. The Wabash Erie canal and the railroad intersected in this little town! This home is the old general store and post office! Elmer and Ethel Grubbs operated this until 1976... My mom lovingly converted this property into a summer home in 1980. Near Turkey Run and Shades State Park!!! The Badlands!! Covered bridge festival and so much more!

Check out this rustic tower! There is something unusual everywhere you will look. Each of the 4 floors are a different room. The views from the top are outstanding. Between the leaves changing, snow, and wildlife there is always something beautiful to see. This is a fun stay that is anything but ordinary.

The Homestead - Lilac Room

The Homestead was built in 1829 and I worked 3 years to restore it to its original glory while adding all the modern conveniences. Exterior areas will be a work in process for awhile yet, planned are a garden area on the main lot as well as a gazebo and recreational areas on the side lot.

The Homestead - Buckeye Room

The Homestead was built in 1829 and I have been working to restore it to its original glory while adding all the modern conveniences. A full hot breakfast is included in your stay. Any dietary restrictions will need to be communicated a week prior to arrival.
