The Shopkeeper’s Apartment in Yuba is the lower rear apartment in a 4-unit commercial brick building. The historically renovated space has a mix of old and new, with hardwood floors, a few restored wooden windows, and a full kitchen and bathroom with a walk-in shower. The apartment is located in the quaint village of Yuba (pop. 53), which is the smallest incorporated village in Wisconsin, 15 minutes (11 miles) from Hillsboro. Most days, you can grab a drink and meal next door at The Still.

Located 2 miles from Wildcat Mountain State Park, 5 miles from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, 10 miles from the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail and walking distance to the Kickapoo River. The apartment is attached to the Driftwood Inn Motel but has a private entrance and patio. The apartment is cozy and well outfitted for your stay. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a full sized futon on the living room.

In case you'd like to eat out, you're conveniently located within two blocks of several different hot spots in our sweet town. (Our favorites are Driftless Cafe, Maybe Lately’s, Tangled Hickory & Wonder State Coffee Cafe.)

Apartment is an addition off of the back of my house, with views into the backyard, and with a private entrance. The apartment features a full bathroom with a shower, and also a kitchenette. (small frig., toaster oven, french press). Wifi is available, and also internet access with ethernet is. Fragrance free.

Relax with the family or enjoy after a great day of fishing the Mississippi River at this peaceful getaway. We provide off street parking for trucks and boats. We have outside electric available to charge trolling motors and electronics. There is a walk out basement making it easy to bring in your luggage or the fresh catch from the day. We have added a fish cleaning station in the basement and several freezers for fish or game.
