Take day trips or just stay & relax! The town of Bucksport is just across the river and is in a renaissance after the closing of its paper mill. Two comfy queen beds, a daybed with trundle on the cantilevered porch overlooking the bay. Beautiful views make for a relaxing stay. You are a short 30 minute ride from many locations that are popular here in Maine. Also a beautiful 45 to 60 minutes ride down Coastal Route 1, brings you to places like Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Camden, Rockport, & Rockland and many more.
