Southbank High Rise Condo Sanctuary with CBD View and Balcony
The whole apartment is yours to enjoy. There are 2 Bedrooms with quality mattresses, bedding and towels for up to 6 people. 1 Queen bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second. The 2 single beds in the second bedroom can be converted to a king size bed if needed. There is a portable cot on site if needed and blockout blinds in all rooms. The apartment will accommodate 4 guests, however we have a comfortable sofa bed that will accommodate 2 extra guests at an extra $20 per person per night. We love to travel and love helping travelers enjoy their stay in our apartment. If there is anything you need during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us. The apartment has been upgraded with new carpets, furniture, heaters and lighting. There is also access to internet & Netflix at no charge. Have a swim in the Pool, work out in the Gym or try the local night spots. This apartment is on the 24th floor with spectacular views of the bay and city. Just park your car in the provided space and walk to everything Melbourne has to offer. Close to all that Melbourne has to offer. Within walking distance of – City Center 5 min, Sporting venues 15 min, Casino 6 min, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 12 min Royal Botanic Gardens 5 min, Art gallery 2 min, Main Train station 6 min, Eureka Skydeck 3 min, Trams 3 min, Yarra River 3 min. Close to so much, yet a high rise tranquil oasis in the apartment. We will meet you for check in to show you around and are available to answer any queries you have during your stay. Check in is normally 3.00 pm and checkout is 11.00 am. Please advise if you have other check in / out requests and we will do our best to accommodate them. The condo is in the heart of the popular Arts Precinct and is close to theatres, live shows, and concerts. It's a short walk to the Southbank Promenade, with a number of great restaurants, bars, and shops to discover. Depending on how many people are traveling the cheapest way to get to the apartment from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is via the Skybus, this will drop you in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Then there is a free shuttle bus to all the hotels just ask to be dropped off at the Quest Southbank in Kavanagh Street, or it’s around a 15 to 20 minute walk to the apartment. Otherwise a taxi is the best method, it will cost around $60 plus tolls and will deliver you directly to the building. Everything is within easy walking distance but public transport, rental bikes and the Melbourne Hop-on Hop-off buses are close at hand. Melbourne has a free tram zone around the city center only a 4 min walk away. The Free Tram will take you from - Federation Square to Melbourne Aquarium, Etihad Stadium, Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, Victoria Markets, Royal Exhibition Building, Fitzroy Garden and everything in between. The Hop-on Hop-off bus has a stop 2 min walk away and will take you to nearby attractions such as St Kilda beach, Melbourne Zoo, Docklands, Lygon St, Comedy Theater and the Sporting Precinct / MCG just to name a few. Hire bikes are just around the corner and will allow you to have the freedom to go where ever you choose. Melbourne's number 1 Tourist information center is at Federation Square opposite Flinders Street station, however we have a broad selection of tourist brochures available for you in the apartment. The Concierge is on duty everyday from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm. There is Secure access at all times. 24 Hr security service is also on call. Pick up and return laundry service available at the desk (payment applies) (There is a Washing Machine and Dryer in the Apartment) Indoor heated pool, Gym.

Our mission is to offer private and secluded luxury accommodation for visitors to the hills, including singles, couples and small groups, as well as showcase the work of our artists and incorporate it into the day-to-day life of the house. Through our monthly artist-in-residence program we also support other commercial artists working in any discipline. We’ve feathered our nest with work from some of The Jacky Winter Group’s world-renowned stable of artists. From custom-made glasswork and wallpaper, to games and framed prints, you’ll become acquainted with new artists, or perhaps be reunited with some you already know. The beautiful Clematis Creek meanders along the bottom of the gardens, and its cheerful burbling is the aural backdrop to your stay. If you want to get closer to the water there is easy and safe access down to the creekbank, which makes it the ideal spot for meditation or private reflection. Located just 45-minutes from Melbourne by car, and situated within walking distance to the town centre with its wonderful Cameo Cinemas, Jacky Winter Gardens straddles the two worlds of nature and civilisation, achieving a perfect holiday balance for solo travellers, couples and small groups. The house is a luxury creative retreat set amidst a half-acre of stunning flora, a creek, and natural bushland. The wild yet tranquil beauty of the Dandenong Ranges has attracted artists to the area for more than a century. Jacky Winter Gardens is situated in Belgrave, Victoria, a short walk from the train station and centre of town. Full directions will be provided upon booking. Car – Belgrave is a 45-minute drive from Melbourne. Train – From Flinders Street Station, catch the Belgrave train to Belgrave Station (it takes just over an hour). Jacky Winter Gardens is a ten-minute walk along a paved walkway from the train station. Jacky Winter Gardens is the perfect retreat for solo travellers or couples, but we are able to accommodate up to five guests: two in the master bedroom, two in the living room on the double-bed fold-out sofa, and one in the studio on a single sofa bed. Jacky Winter Gardens is now dog and child friendly. We also accept single night bookings when available. ***Please message us if you wish to bring your pet or want to stay for a single night before booking*** Each additional guest (beyond the first two) will incur a tariff of 25.00 per night. Unfortunately, due to site limitations, there is no wheelchair access at this time. Due to our location in a high fire risk area, we also have detailed Fire Safety policies which are outlined on our website, which once again is not hard to find.

Step back in time to a hilltop house with views across the city through picture windows. Exposed brick and the extensive use of natural wood maintain a mid-century atmosphere, enhanced by period furnishings and gleaming softwood floors throughout. The House Manual provides information about Jack's, as we call our house. We do not host guests with accompanying pets and smoking on any part of the house and property is not acceptable. If these rules are not to your liking then please do not book. Jack's Place is an original 1960's architect designed house. A master bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (en-suite except it is the only one!). The second bedroom features jarrah flooring and exposed brick wall. The living area features a unique view across the City especially at night. Functional kitchen and laundry, air conditioning and heating. The rental terms are for the whole house but if a couple book then it is expected only one bedroom is used. On booking it is best to clarify if both bedrooms are required. If not we do not make up the second bed. Jack's Place is a free standing brick residence with its own car space. There is a walled courtyard and front lawn area/garden (yet to be fully developed ). Cate and I live behind Jack's Place and both properties share a driveway. Naturally the drive must be kept clear at all time. More than happy to be contacted with any questions relating to Ballarat in general, food, wine and things to do. This 1962 house is in Golden Point, an old area in the City of Ballarat, about 125 kilometers west of Melbourne. These days the architecture of the area varies from 1860s dwellings, California bungalows, and modern high-density residences. Ballarat's main street is Sturt St. It is about a ten minute walk to the town centre and less to major supermarkets. Parking in town is charged via meter all week. On the edge of the central business district parking is free. Parking around the restaurant area of Armstrong St is difficult. My advice is to walk to dinner and Uber home. Local buses are confusing. Only a few minutes away is The Grapes Hotel, friendly and reliable. Ballarat weather can be variable. I have no control over the weather! We are perched about 375 metres above sea level, cold in Winter and hot in Summer. Summer nights tend to cool down. To keep the house warm and you comfortable, draw the blinds and turn on the heating. There are electric panel heater available in the house. Be very aware that they are not suitable for use when young children are part of the guest party. To cool the house, draw the blinds, close all windows and unnecessary doors and set the cooling for 10C below the outside temperature.

Hospitals, shopping, restaurants, and a trendy nightlife scene is also nearby. Public transport is 100m away via tram or bus getting you to the centre of the CBD or back into trendy Brunswick within minutes. The CBD and all local attractions all within walking distance.
