Whether you like to walk, bike, fish or just relax this area can accommodate almost any outdoor activity. We are a short 2.5 mile drive away from the Luckiest Spot in Texas, The Naskila Casino, where you can enjoy endless gaming and delicious food. At our Lone Wolf Cabin you can also enjoy roasting marshmellows over the fire pit or a movie night in the loft. Our cabin provides more than just your average stay at a hotel. Located just 2 hours from Houston, our little lake house retreat is the perfect getaway. Whether you enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends, hitting the lake for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just lounging on the large floating water mat, we have you covered. At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. The Cottage is in Kountze at Angel Gardens Wedding Venue. BIRDS, great for bird watching. It’s 8 beautiful acres, trails with a gazebo and pond. You will have privacy because we don’t book the Cottage and Wedding at the same time.. Plenty free parking . Comes with one double bed, couch and chair, cabinets with sink and some dishes. Also microwave and fridge and TV with WiFi and spectrum. One mile from town with several fast food restaurants. 10 miles from the Big Thicket National Preserve.

Quiet and restful, our hide-away apartment is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a place to relax, unwind, and recharge! Nestled into six acres of private forested land, this apartment has everything you need for the perfect stay, including a deck overlooking the forest and property, a desk and work area, spacious living room, and queen-sized bedroom. Local activities, Livingston Lake, the Sam Houston Wine Trail, and quaint downtown, are all within a few miles drive.

Relax and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful private lake with lakefront cabin. Full kitchen, with complimentary coffee and tea, queen bed, private full bathroom. A large, covered porch. Fire pit and charcoal grill are provided as well as a Kayak and paddle boat for your enjoyment. Kayak, fish, or swim or just chill on private pier. Check in 3:00 pm - Check out 11:00 am. If there is anything else you would like, we can try and make it happen. Just ask.

Relax while swinging on the porch and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning (or wine at night:) Take a hike in the Big Thicket National Preserve, or go canoeing or kayaking down the famous Village Creek (ask us how!) This property is secluded under a shaded canopy of oaks, in a quiet, country setting. A fire pit, BBQ area, swim area and dock, which is fitted with cleats for docking your boat or jet skies, are available for use. Plenty of parking. Pets under 20lbs are allowed with PRE-APPROVAL BEFORE BOOKING ONLY.

The Big Thicket National Preserve is about 7 miles away. It is fully furnished, all bills paid. The unit has been recently fully updated with brand new appliances.

Come and stay at our peaceful lakeside cabin. Grill on your own patio and sit by the lake on your own pier. The house is stocked with pots, pans, and other utensils. We will provide you with the necessities to make your own breakfast at your own pace. Items provided will be milk, cereal, and pancake mix.
