The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Collect your farm fresh eggs from Matilda 🐔 and enjoy your coffee in Ebba's 👩‍🌾 vegetable garden.

The wild horses roaming freely in the area will make you feel like you are in the middle of nature. Perfect for honeymooners, couples, friends, families, singles, or business people /artists looking for a quiet breakaway. Stay for a day or two or make it your base from where to explore the Panorama Route, Kruger National Park and the Lowveld.

Family self-catering unit (2 Adults, 2 Children)

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our unit is fully solar powered and with no wi-fi or TV it guarantees a peaceful and special time with your family. The unit is filled with board games, cards and books to give you a break from the busy life. Ideal for bird lovers. As we are situated just outside of town on a smallholding you can enjoy peace and space. Here the night sounds will sing you to dreamland. Note we accept only families. No adult groups to this unit.

School Bus living in Nature

Enjoy a stay in a 1973 converted school bus that has all the comforts of home and touches of luxury. Self-contained accommodation for two in the bushveld with magnificent views and the sounds of nature. All of this is situated in agricultural lands, 15 minutes away from the centre of Nelspruit. The hosts have 4 large dogs that are well socialised and enjoy meeting new people. The property is a self-sustaining homestead where the hosts grow their own vegetables, farm honey and produce eggs.

Farm cottage (En-route to Moz & Kruger)

Featuring a cozy open plan lounge with fireplace that adds coziness during colder days. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Galil Farm, guests can explore the ancient stone circles.

Bushwhacked, Barberton (The Woodshed)

The Woodshed is ideally placed only an hour's drive from The Kruger National Park or the closest border into E'Swatini (Swaziland). In the foothills of the World Heritage listed Makonjwa Mountains with their 3.6 Billion year old Geological history. Scenic drives and hiking are nearby. The historic 1884 Goldrush town of Barberton is just a 2km walk away. Gold mining tours and panning are available and the area still has 7 working gold mines. Fresh air, great views, peace, quiet, privacy.

Beautiful place to re-connect with nature, open spaces & big skies. Trout dams on property, space for long walks, hikes & mountain biking. 8km on a dirt road from Machadodorp, 30km to Dullstroom.

Uitpak

Afpak is a lovely self-catering rondawel located on a private farm outside Barberton, The rondawel features 2 traditional round-shaped rooms, typically constructed from natural local materials such as stone, wood, or clay. Each room has an en-suite shower and toilet and a comfortable queen-size bed, pillows, and linen. Fan, smart box, and TV are also provided, Space to work, FREE Wifi and basic kitchen and braai area. Rondawel will be perfect for reps, 2 couples or a family.
