"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! Get cozy by the wood stove on chilly nights, or star gaze while you make s’mores by the fire-pit. Our place is just a few minutes drive to the ocean and great hiking trails. We are located very close to historic Castine and Maine Maritime Academy, and about one hours drive from Acadia National Park.

Rabbitrock Retreat

Coastal village. Rabbitrock Retreat is located towards the end of a dirt road among wildflower meadows and apple trees, quiet except for the sound of birds and distant church bells. It is named after a local landmark Rabbit Rock that exists in the woods near our house, known only by select locals who used to say you could “always catch a rabbit at Rabbit Rock”. It is a place of abundance for sure, and we are happy to get to share it.
