‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Peter's Pond Preserve, 10 minute walk away, Dutch Neck Preserve boat launch. No washer/dryer, you provide your own sheets and towels. Peace & beauty!

An outdoor shower for those who hate to come indoors. A fully equipped cook's kitchen. Washer and dryer. Three zones of air conditioning.

Finding Joy

This lovely apartment is above our garage. You can come and go as you please. We have created a place for peace and solitude. Sit on the deck or look out the dining room window and see the woods and wait for the birds and wildlife that may be wonder through the yard. There is coffee and tea available, along with basic breakfast supplies, if you wish. Keyless entry allows for you to come anytime after check-in. Please note, you have to be comfortable with stairs to access the apartment.

Get away from the hustle and bustle in this secluded, solar-powered, off-grid cottage overlooking a pastoral farm meadow. Drive past the red barn with chickens free-ranging, serene pond, and enter your own private oasis. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise over the meadow from your screened porch, and possibly catch a glimpse of the wildlife that abound on this 87 acre coastal Maine farm. ***NOTE. We are unsure we will have cattle this summer due to lack of availability.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. There is no kitchen, but there is a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. If you are a spinner, or want to learn, please join us for Fiber Sunday 1 - 3 each week this summer. Enjoy the charisma of this old farm. It is a quiet place to to come after a sightseeing day, with a private porch. The bedrooms are located upstairs. Our living space is downstairs. There are 70 acres of fields and woods here with walking and riding trails.

This 1830 cape is for rent by the month or weekly or for a two-night minimum stay. It is located at the edge of the historic village of Waldoboro. It offers a convenient base to sightseeing in midcoast Maine. It’s old-fashioned, decorated with plants, antiques and paintings and features a large, fully equipped kitchen, music room with piano, television room with pull-out sofa, full bath with stall shower and outside patio. Your hosts are right across the driveway.

Rest and relax in this cozy cottage by the sea. Home has new appliances, kitchen, bathroom, flooring, furniture, doors, and paint! Located towards the end of one of Maine's peninsulas, this property is on a quiet road that is perfect for taking a walk or running with lots of sights to see! There is a marsh on one side of the home with birds and wildlife year-round; fox, deer, frogs, turkeys to name a few. Plenty of adventure awaits or cozy up and rest!

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
