Whether you like to walk, bike, fish or just relax this area can accommodate almost any outdoor activity. We are a short 2.5 mile drive away from the Luckiest Spot in Texas, The Naskila Casino, where you can enjoy endless gaming and delicious food. At our Lone Wolf Cabin you can also enjoy roasting marshmellows over the fire pit or a movie night in the loft. Our cabin provides more than just your average stay at a hotel. Lakefront Home with Dock, Kayaks, and Paddleboard

Located just 2 hours from Houston, our little lake house retreat is the perfect getaway. Whether you enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends, hitting the lake for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just lounging on the large floating water mat, we have you covered. At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. The Ponderosa

The Ponderosa is relaxing and peaceful for anyone. If you need more space, we have outdoor areas for RVs or tents. This is a great space for gatherings such as: crawfish boils, family reunions, birthdays, a romantic couple getaway or a family escape from everyday life. Come out and enjoy nature and look at the stars at the Ponderosa. Lake Sam Rayburn is 35 min., Steinhagen Reservoir is 10 min. away and Big Thicket National Game preserve is minutes away. The kids will be in the water by nine and you won't see them again until they're hungry. Our dock runs 5-6 feet deep — deep enough to actually jump off, which is rarer on this lake than you'd think — plus a slide into the shallow end the little ones won't get off of. Kayaks and a paddleboard included. Meanwhile you're on the shaded back deck with coffee, looking straight down at the dock. You can see them the whole time, which means you can actually sit down. 2,300 sq ft. Sleeps 10.

The Longhorn Guest Cabin

This is a newly renovated guest cabin located on a 70 acre ranch with access to walking trails, the Theuvinin creek for fishing and three miles from the start of the National Park Service Turkey Creek trail and the Pitcher Plant Trail. During summer months the park service has night hikes, canoeing, star gazing and free fishing days. Microwave oven available. Cabin accommodates 4 guest with a minimum of a four night stay. Cabin is nonsmoking.
