Enjoy the ambiance of 12 acres on Old Mines Creek which includes beautiful creek access, a playground & all the conveniences of home with the peace of the country. We’re just miles away from hiking, fishing, or floating at beautiful state parks & only 30 miles away from Elephant Rock & Johnson Shut Ins. 1 mile away is the Starlite Drive-In movie theater and a few more miles down the road is the sweet town of Caledonia with antique shops & sweet treats.

Aptus Hook n Horn Ranch

This mini lodge nestled on the banks of the Mineral Fork Stream is perfect for a couples romantic escape or friends-cation. The privacy & beauty that comes along with a stay at this historic working ranch is easy to fall in love with and offers a taste of seclusion with a touch of civilization. Whether it’s enjoying a drink on the covered porch which sits within view of the 1800’s huge rock constructed historic smelter or listening to the swoonworthy babbling stream & relaxing by the fire-pit.

The Den at Dittmer Hollow

Newly Updated** Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature, with a semi-primitive, modern cozy secluded treehouse in the woods! Explore 10 acres or wind down on the deck before relaxing in the *NEW* hot tub. The cabin inside has a very minimalistic design featuring on the first floor an electric fireplace, air conditioner, table, refrigerator, leather futon couch, kitchenette with a hand crank water pump sink, axe throwing and porta-potty bathroom.

Amenities include a fully equipped farm house kitchen, 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 newly restored bathrooms, screened in porch, grand piano, two fireplaces, huge yard with mature trees, and ample off street parking (including room for trailers). Enjoy the period antiques and quilts through out the home. You are a short walk from dozens of antique and collectible shops in the Caledonia Historic District.

On The Rocks Primitive Cabin (3)@Spring Lake Ranch

This primitive cabin is a great way to connect with nature, while still being able to retreat indoors at night. Unique space - the loft has a skylight; primitive - has electricity but no running water. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edg Clif Wineries which is next door to us. The newly remodeled shower house has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance.

Hillside Cottage @Spring Lake Ranch

Cabin style house adjacent to the Mark Twain National Forest. This 5-guest cottage is newly updated with all modern amenities. Take a 3-minute walk to reach the beautiful Spring Lake. The lake is accessible to all guests and offers great fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Love horses? We now offer horseback riding; over 20 miles of trails for you to explore! If you forgot something at home stop by our little country store, we might have it!

Glamping in the Woods!

Escape the city! We have fans and electric for the summer! Hang out with the farm animals during the day. There's a pond with a beach down below the campsite and plenty of trees to hang a hammock. Take a 15 minute walk to Mill Creek. There's a fire ring outside the tent + a common kitchen area. Take a stroll and meet the goats, cows and horses. NO CATS allowed in tent. Ask about Rock Hunting!
