Hike through fields and woods, discover the remains of old homesteads and watch for the abundant wildlife. Read a book, play games, toss another log on the fire, or burger on the grill. Head to the Battenkill to float or fish, go antiquing or do nothing at all.

The Long Lodge - a secluded year round getaway

This space offers a wonderful place to convene with family and friends. Adjacent to Battenkill Valley Outdoors, an outfitter for canoe, kayak, raft, or tube rentals, local hiking, or just being....come relax here. 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, a stocked kitchen, common area, outdoor fire pit and grill, expansive lawn for grass games, & starry night skies. Cook great meals, tell tall tales, share experiences. Pet friendly...a space to toss balls & a full dog run. This is an all season rental.

East Cabin

The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the beautiful Green Mountains of VT and the gorgeous Adirondacks of NY. Soak up the morning sun on your private stone patio while mother nature comes to life on the pond and fields. Take a day trip to beautiful Lake George or Historic Saratoga Springs. Grill steaks on BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. For the winter season, there are many major ski resorts close by. We also have the West Cabin available for your extended family and friends.

The log cabins are some of the most beloved accommodations at the Lake Lauderdale Campground because they offer a bit of privacy and comfort for your family while still being “no-frills” (there are no bathrooms in the cabins, however, there are is a wash house short walking distance located nearby). If you have any “reluctant campers,” in your family, this might be a nice compromise .

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin getaway. Sitting on 55 acres, theres plenty of space for everyone. The hiking trail goes past the swimming pond and weaves its way to the top of the hill where there's wide open spaces thru the oak and pines. Listen to birds, watch deer and turkeys roam thru the yard while you sit on the front porch and enjoy the peace and quiet. 2 miles to town, close to the Battenkill River and other nearby attractions.
