A Little Country in the City

This is a lovely, basic room for one person. It is in the basement with a north-western window and egress. The house is quiet and owned by a professional couple, one of whom is frequently at home and often available (works from home). A hearty or light breakfast is available, if ordered in advance and with availability. In the summer, it can be el fresco. The house is in a very mature, wooded neighbourhood that is safe and conveniently close to all amenities.

The 1889 Schoolhouse B&B retains the charm of this heritage one roomed school while comfortably welcoming guests with furnishings and art from around the world. The three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are in the modern addition whose design compliments and blends effortlessly with the old. A superbly furnished kitchen overlooks the informal breakfast area for small groups while larger gatherings can utilize the dining area of the schoolhouse section.

Lakeshore North - Waterloo

Lakeshore North is a beautiful area of Waterloo. It is walking distance to Laurel Creek Conservation Area and a short drive to St. Jacobs Farmers Market. Self-serve breakfast includes cereal, toast, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, jam, yogourt, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice and milk. The basement bedroom is large (18 feet X 12 feet) and normally very cool, but fans are available if necessary.
