A peaceful atmosphere in a quaint small town, Meraki Loft is a place for you to be still and hear your own voice. This loft is situated on the north side of the town square in Newton, IL in one of Jasper County's oldest buildings. Guests are invited to enjoy our relaxing atmosphere, go for walk on the nearby Eagle Trails, visit a neighboring gym, take a class at the Dance Hall Studio, receive a healing touch massage, or visit one of our many natural resources. Most of all, live in the moment.

Enjoy yourself in an open concept floor plan where there is lots of room to spread out. Spend your evenings in the living room or the family room that has a fireplace. From the family room you can step out on a deck and enjoy the view of the pond. We are located 8.5 miles from Vandalia where there are historical landmarks, great restaurants, and quaint shops.

Lincoln’s Loft is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. This loft offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and large smart TV. This loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. Get some quality family time at this newly remodeled cabin near the beautiful Embarrass river. You are surrounded by beautiful woods and a small creek. Lush wildlife is all around you so you can be one with nature. The cabin has all the luxury's to allow for a long term stay as well. Beautiful Lake Charleston is not far away. The large circle drive offers plenty of parking for your boat and guest. The large deck on the rear gives a beautiful view to be enjoyed by all.

Cottage on Lake Paradise

Welcome to Paradise Cottage nestled on Lake Paradise! Cozy and warm with wood finishes throughout. Includes three-tiered deck/patio, with the lowest level sitting over the water. Perfect for fishing (this lake hosts an annual fishing tournament), canoeing/kayaking, or just relaxing. Great for bird watching, with great blue herons, egrets, ducks, bald eagles, plovers, cormorants, woodpeckers and other species seen daily.

Bev's Country Cottage

A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. As hosts we want our guest to enjoy their stay so we are available to help with anything.

House By The Woods 2 bedroom/sleeps 7

We have 2 electric fireplaces, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, futon & full size bed in living room that sleeps up to 7 total. It has a side covered porch with a seating area & table with chairs. Firepit area for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. Firewood on premises. Propane grill on back patio. Small kids play area in back yard & 4pm check in with 10am checkout.

Sonnemann Cabin

Rustic one room log cabin. Built in 1931. Bathroom is on the back porch with both hot and cold water. The cabin is equipped with an airconditioner, heater, refrigerator, microwave, stove, grill and a queen sized bed. Setting is rural and tranquil. Very quiet, beautiful place to relax and unplug. No TV or WIFI, but good cellular signal.

The Lake House

Quaint, cozy, cottage nestled on Beautiful Lake Vandalia. 1870’s farm house with all original decor. Full size granite bar located in 4 seasons room overlooking lake. Full size commercial kitchen. Stand up walk in shower, washer and dryer. Plenty of free safe parking. Perfect for a night stay or a full week vacation with family.

Quiet Lake House By the Beach

Welcome! Quiet Lake House by the Beach is just as it describes! The property shares a driveway with the cabin I also host. The Lake House is located just a short walk to Beach, Pinky’s , The Rusty Reel Bar (below Pinky’s) and The Marina. The beach offers a beautiful playground, pavilions and a frisbee golf course!
