The Fisherman's cottage is located on a farm at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains; a short 17km drive from Mooi River. The cottage has panoramic views over a 6ha private trout dam and you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets while sipping your sundowner on the cottage patio, or the deck near the little waterfall.

Vista Road Farm Cottage

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

Enjoy the farm's fresh air, unlimited walks, cycling, horse riding for little people on our two miniature ponies, cattle herding, swimming & fishing in the river, bird watching, and more. It is a perfect place to reconnect with the whole family in this peaceful setting with breathtaking scenery and views.

1-Bedroom Pet Friendly Riverside Cabin 6 - Ruach

Ruach is a light-filled 1-bedroom riverside cabin with a queen bed, surrounded by open skies and nature. For guests with pets, there is a convenient fenced area. Wake to birdsong on a peaceful farm near Nottingham Road. Pets allowed by prior approval at a fee R100 per pet per night. Please message with details (breed, size, number) when booking. A R500 refundable pet deposit applies & will be returned after check-out, subject to cabin inspection.

Lake Zonk is situated on a beautiful dairy farm. We are close to Giants Castle Nature Reserve, Highmoor Nature Reserve, Kamberg Nature Reserve, Glengarry, Cleopatra Mountain Farm House and Hartford House. Lake Zonk has stunning natural surroundings and amazing mountains. The house is right on the lake.
